What it is like
A shrub. It grows 3 m tall. The stems are hairy. The leaves are 9-20 cm long and 1-2.1 cm wide. The flowers are bright yellow. The pods are oblong and flattened. They are 3.5-7.5 cm long by 1-1.8 cm wide. They are purple to black. The seeds are oval and 6-7.5 mm long by 4.4-5 mm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 100-300 m above sea level.
