What it is like
A low, crooked tree. The leaves have leaflets twice divided. There are about 15 leaflets that are 3-5 cm long. The flowers are small and yellow. The pods are 6 cm long by 2 cm wide. They are thick and flattened and become twisted as they get old. Possibly now Caesalpinia coriaria (Jacq.) Willd.
