What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 8 m tall. The leaves are oblong and 6-20 cm long by 2-8 cm wide. They are more pale underneath. The fruit are capsules 8-13 mm long by 6-8 mm wide. They are red to yellow when lives.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows from sea level up to 1400 m altitude in southern China. In Yunnan.
