What it is like
A herb or shrub. It grows 1-2 m tall. The leaves are 5-22 mm long by 1.5-5 mm wide. The flowers have reddish or brown spots on the outside. The pods are cylinder shape and 12-20 cm long by 2-3 mm wide. There are about 38 seeds in each pod.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It often grows in salty locations. It grows from sea level to 300 m above sea level.
