What it is like
A tree. It grows 10-20 m high. The trunk is 15-70 cm across. The fruit are green when young and yellow to orange when ripe. It has up to 70 bumps over the fruit surface.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In Colombia it grows between 150-200 m above sea level.
