What it is like

A tree. It can grow 25 m tall. The trunk can be 20 cm across. The twigs are hairy. The leaves are 6-9 cm long by 1.5-2 cm wide. There are 1-8 flowers in a group in the axils of leaves. They are yellowish-green. The fruit occur as 5 in a group. They are 2.3-3.1 cm long and 1.5-1.8 cm wide. There are up to 6 seeds in each section.

It is a tropical plant. It grows at low altitudes in north Madagascar.
