What it is like
A herb that keeps growing from year to year. It grows 20-60 cm high and spreads 50 cm wide. The leaves are narrow or sword shaped and do not have stalks. They are 10 cm long. The flowers are yellow and daisy-like. They are 5 cm across.
There are about 100 Inula species. The flowers are used in medicine.
