What it is like

A vine. The young stems have lines along them. The leaf stalk is slender and 3-8 cm long. The leaves are oval and 10-22 cm long by 5-13 cm wide. The fruit are yellow or red. They are narrowly oval and 3 cm long by 2 cm wide. The seeds are oval.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows in Yunnan in China between 600-1100 m altitude. It grows in seasonal rainforest and monsoon rainforest.
