What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 5-20 cm tall. The leaves have 3 or 5 leaflets. They are 2-5 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. They are hairy underneath. It is like a strawberry but the hairs are flattened.


Where it is found

It is native to north western China. It grows in meadows on mountain slopes between 1,600-3,900 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
