What it is like
A small annual herb. It is 20-30 cm high. The leaves near the base are narrow and 10 cm long by 5 mm wide. The leaves on the stem are sword shaped and 2-4 cm long by 5-7 mm wide. The flowers are bright blue and in groups at the ends of stems. The fruit is a capsule 3 mm across.
