What it is like

A shrub. It grows 3 m tall. The leaves grow in rings of 3 on the lower branches. The branches are stick like and almost naked. The leaves are narrow and 3 cm long. The flower clusters have many small green flowers with purple tints. The fruit are long thick follicles that hang down.
