What it is like
A tall climber. It has tendrils. It grows 12 m tall. The leaves are thin and rough. The upper surface is shiny and the lower surface is mat. The flowering shoots are at the ends of the branches and they have many flowers. The fruit are deep yellow. They are 15 cm across. The pulp is edible. The seeds are 10-18 mm long.

A tropical plant. It grows in savannah and woodland near streams.
