What it is like
A small tree. It loses its leaves during the year. It grows 3-5 m high. The leaves are narrowly oval and 5-10 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They taper at the tip and are rounded at the base. There are teeth along the edge. The flowers are pink and 4 cm across. The fruit are 1-1.5 cm across.
