What it is like
A small tree. The leaves are crowded towards the ends of the branches. The leaves are narrowly sword shaped. They are 7-15 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The leaf stalks are 1-2 cm long. The flowers are white. They are in groups of 2-6 in the axils of leaves. The fruit is fleshy and oval. It is 2-3 cm long by 8-12 mm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests in steep valleys. In Borneo it grows between 200-500 m above sea level. In XTBG Yunnan.
