What it is like

A bean family herb. It is a climber and grows up to 3 m long. It loses its leaves in the dry season but then produces its flowers. Young stems have hairs. The leaves have 3 leaflets. They are oval and 2-6 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. The flowers are in tight bundles. The pods are narrow and 6-10 cm long by 6-7 mm wide. The seeds are dark reddish-brown with black marks.
