What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 2-18 m tall. The trunk can be 20-90 cm across. The bark is flaky and cracked. The leaves have 3 leaflets. The central leaflet is narrowly oval and 6-8 cm long by 3 cm wide. The side leaflets are 5 cm long by 2 cm wide. They are wedge shaped at the base and taper to the tip. The fruit are pale purple and 3-5 mm across.

It is a tropical plant. It grows on limestone. It grows between 160-530 m above sea level.
