What it is like

A small shrub. It can be twining. It grows 2 m long. The stems have one line of white hairs. The leaves are fleshy and 1-4 cm long by 0.4-1.5 cm wide. There are 1-4 flowers in a group in the axils of leaves. The fruit are follicles 4-6 cm long and 1 cm wide. The seeds are reddish brown.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows near the coast and up to 100 m above sea level.
