What it is like
A straggling herb. It can be 1 m tall. The stems are angular. The leaves have 2-7 leaflets. These are 12-45 mm long by 1-6 mm wide. There are 2-8 flowers in a group. This is 1-3 cm long. The pods are 2-3 cm long by 4-7 mm wide. They are oblong and flat. There are 5-11 seeds. The seeds are greenish brown with black marks.
