What it is like
A shrub. It is large and upright. It grows 3 m high and spreads 2 m wide. The leaves are long and oval. They are mid green but paler underneath. The flowers are pinkish white or red. They are in dense clusters on bare wood.
There are about 150 Viburnum species. Also put in the family Caprifoliaceae.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It suits hardiness zones 7-9.
