What it is like

A shrub. It grows 1-5 m tall. The leaves are 1.5-6.5 cm long with 2-5 divisions with 6-19 pairs of leaflets on each. These are 3-6 mm long by 0.5-1.7 mm wide. The fruit are black and 4-7 cm long by 1-1.5 cm wide. It is raised above the seeds and the pulp is sweet.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 50-1,200 m above sea level.
