What it is like

The leaf blades are 5-14 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They are oblong or sword shaped. They are wedge shaped at the base. They are a shiny green above except for rusty hairs on the midrib. The flowers occur singly or in pairs in the axils of leaves. The petals are yellow or greenish. The fruit are 3-5 cm long by 2 cm wide. They can be straight or curved. They are yellow but become black to purple. The seeds are 1-5 cm long and disk shaped.
