What it is like
A woody climber. It grows 5 m long. Young stems have grey hairs. The leaves are oval and 5-10 cm long by 4-5 cm wide. They are rounded or heart shaped at the base. The flowers are bright yellow. They are 2-3 cm across. The flowering shoots are 5-12 cm long and have several flowers. The fruit has flattened wings of papery tissue.
