What it is like
A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 20-60 cm tall. The leaves have 3 leaflets. The leaflets are broadly oval and 10-25 mm long by 7-15 mm wide. There are 5-8 flowers in a group. They are yellow.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. In the Indian Himalayas it grows between 2,100-4,500 m above sea level. It suits cold arid places.
