What it is like

A pumpkin family vine. It can grow 3-6 m long. It has tendrils that can be simple of have 2 branches. The leaf stalk can be 5-12 cm long. The leaves are simple and do not have lobes and they are smooth underneath. They are 10-22 cm long by 8-20 cm wide. The base is heart shaped. The fruit are like cucumbers and red when ripe. They are pear shaped and smooth on the outside. They can be 10-20 cm long by 5-10 cm wide. The pulp is yellow or orange-red. The seeds are brown.
