What it is like
A shrub or small tree. Young branches have flattened hairs. The leaves have leaflets along the edge and one at the end. The leaves are 10-33 cm long. The leaflets are opposite and 7-9 cm long. The fruit capsule is 1-2.3 cm long and 0.7-1.3 cm wide. They have 3 valves.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in the non flooded lowlands.
