What it is like
A shrub or small tree. The leaves are opposite and narrowly oval. They are 11 cm long by 4 cm wide. They are shiny and dark green. The flowers are in clusters of 3. They are white or greenish-cream. The fruit are round and 3-6 mm across. They are red when ripe.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in evergreen forest and along rivers. It grows between 500-1,200 m above sea level.
