What it is like
A yam. The vine is long. It spreads along the ground. It twines to the left. The leaves are alternate with leaflets arranged like fingers on a hand. There are 3-5 leaflets. They are shiny green. There can be bulbils along the vine.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In Madagascar it grows in seasonally dry forests along the western region.
