What it is like
A herb. It grows 30-60 cm tall. The root is brown and cone shaped. The stem is purplish and branched. The lower leaf stalks are 6-12 cm long. The leaves are broadly oval and 5-8 cm long y 4-6 cm wide. They have leaflets.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It grows in damp grassland between 2,200-4,000 m above sea level in China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
