What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1-1.6 m tall. The bark is light grey. The leaves are narrowly sword shaped and 3 cm long by 1 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The flowers are pink. There are usually 4-6 in a cluster. The fruit are round and fleshy and 9 mm across.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It grows in Central Asia. It grows in stony places between 800-1,000 m above sea level.
