What it is like

A shrub. It is partly a parasite on other plants. It grows 50 cm tall. The branches are angled. The leaves are 8 cm long and 1 cm wide. They are pressed against the stems except for the tips which curve out. The flowers are in dense oblong spikes. They are whitish.
