What it is like
A woody creeper. The stems are flat and have ridges along them. The tendrils are not branched. The leaves have 5 leaflets arranged like fingers on a hand. The leaflets are oval to sword shaped and 9-16 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The fruit are round berries 2-3 cm across. There are 1 or 2 seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests in southern China between 100-2,100 m above sea level. In XTBG Yunnan.
