What it is like
A shrub. It grows up to 1 m tall. Young stems and leaves have a grey coating. The leaves are opposite and oval. They are 3-6 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They are papery. The fruit is an oval berry. It is 8-10 mm long by 5-6 mm wide. It grows on a range of plants including longan, figs, rubber, litchi, mulberry and peach.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in Yunnan in China. It grows in a range of locations from forests to gardens and plantations. It grows between 100-400 m above sea level.
