What it is like

The leaf blades are broadly oval and 10-20 cm long and wide. They are wavy. The leaf stalks are 8-10 cm long. The leaves on the stem are round and do not have leaf stalks but clasp the stem. The flowers are pale yellow. They are 10 mm across. The pod is short and stout. It is 2-4 cm long. It has a short stout beak. The seed are 1 mm across and dark brown.

There are about 30 Brassica species and many cultivated varieties.
