What it is like

An evergreen tree. It grows 12-25 m tall. The trunk is 30 cm across. Male and female flowers are on separate trees. The fruit are oval and 25 mm long.

Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in moist mixed forests often along the side of streams. It grows up to 1,200 m above sea level.
