What it is like
A seaweed. It has slightly flattened branches. They are divided several times. They can curve back and become tangled forming clumps 30 cm across.
Also put in the family Arthrocladiaceae.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows on coral reefs. It grows in the lower tidal zone and in sheltered or partly exposed shores.
