What it is like

A small tree. It grows 10-20 m tall. The leaves are opposite and simple. The leaves are oval or oblong and 10-15 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The flowers are white to pink and 3 cm across. The flowers are in dense clusters and the stamens are protruding. The fruit are oval berries. They are 12 mm long.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows in wet and swampy land. It grows up to 1,900 m above sea level.
