What it is like
A herb. The twigs are 4 angled and hairy. The leaves are oval to sword shaped and 3-9 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. They are pointed at both ends. There are teeth along the edge. The flowers are white and in spikes at the ends of branches or in the axils of leaves. The fruit is a capsule 6 mm long.

It is a subtropical plant.
