What it is like

A creeping herb. It keeps growing from year to year. The stems are slender and much branched. They develop roots at the nodes. The leaves are alternate or in clusters. They are round or kidney shaped. They are 1-3 cm across and have 3 deep lobes. These have teeth and are hairy. The leaf stalks are 2-10 cm long. The flowers are small and white. They are in groups on single stalks in the axils of leaves.

Also put in the family Apiaceae.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. It grows beside slow moving streams at about 1,800 m above sea level.
