What it is like

The leaves are narrowly oval and the leaf stalks are 7 cm long. The flowers are in upright clusters. The flowers are white. The fruit pods or follicles are red and hairy on the outside.

A tropical plant. It grows in tropical India. It grows in the Deccan. In Thailand it grows between 350-1,800 m above sea level.
