What it is like

An orchid. It grows 30-65 cm tall. The false bulb is underground. It is 3-4 cm across. There are 2 or 3 leaves. They are oblong and 20-40 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. They have a leaflet like stalk. It is enclosed in sheaths at the base. The flowering stalk is 30-65 cm long. The flowers are 2-4 cm across.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in mixed forests and on grassy slopes between 200-1,600 m above sea level in China. In Yunnan.
