What it is like

A shrub. The leaves are oval and unequal at the base. They have rounded teeth along the edge. The flowers are white and in large groups.

There are about 25 Sambucus species. Also put in the family Sambucaceae.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,400 m above sea level.
