What it is like
An annual herb. It grows 40-120 cm high. It is hairy. The stems are 4 angled and 4-6 mm across. The leaves are at the base until flowering. They are in a ring. The leaves on the stem are opposite and broadly oval. They are 3-12 cm long and across. They have 3 segments. The segments of the lower leaves are oval and have lobes and the upper ones are more narrow and have teeth.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It is native to southern China. In Sichuan.
