What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It grows 10 m tall. The branches are dark grey and have lines along them. The bark flakes off the trunk. The leaves are compound with leaflets along the stalk and one at the end. There are 3-7 leaflets. The flowers are in panicles 40 cm long by 27 cm wide. They can be in the axils of leaves or at the ends of branches. They are cream to yellow. The fruit is fleshy and black to violet when ripe. It is 15-20 mm long by 12-15 mm wide and an uneven shape.
