What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 10-12 m tall. The leaves are simple and narrowly oval. They are 7-12 cm long by 3-7 cm wide. There are many flowers in a group. The petals are white. The fruit are round or oval and brown. They are 1-1.4 cm long by 1 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. It grows in mixed forests and valleys between 600-2,100 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
