What it is like
A trailing or climbing shrub. The branches are 1 m long and arch over. It can form new roots at the nodes. The fruit are pale green and can have darker stripes. It is 2-3 cm across.
It is a rare plant and at risk.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In Peru it grows between 2,100-3,200 m above sea level.
