What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1-10 m tall. The stems are hairy. The leaves are 5-40 cm long by 3-30 cm wide. The leaves can be divided into leaflets. The flowering shoots are 6-22 cm long with 25-50 flowers. The fruit are 2-4 cm long by 1.5-3 cm wide. The seeds are 4-5 mm long by 3 mm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the tropical rainforest between 200-2,850 m above sea level.
