What it is like
A tree. It grows 5-30 m tall. The stem has prominent leaf scars. The leaf stalks are 1-3 cm long. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-22 cm long b 2-10 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The flowering shoots are 20 cm long. The flowers are white. The fruit are round berries 1 cm across.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the moist forest zone.
