What it is like
A shrub. It grows 80 cm tall. It loses its leaves during the year. It forms large colonies. The leaves are narrowly oval and 4 cm long. The flowers are cylinder shaped and 10 mm long. They are white or pink. The fruit are dark blue to black and 7 mm across.
