What it is like
A plant that has a stem 2-3 m long. There is one simply unbranched stem. The leaf blades are erect and in a ring. They are 50-100 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They bend back with age. The fruit hang down and are 6-13 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. They are succulent.
