What it is like
A lily plant which grows 30 cm high and spreads 25 cm wide. It has long creeping stems or stolons. The leaves are mottled. The flowers are cream with yellow blotches. They are nodding.
There are about 22 Erythronium species.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. Plants can grow in full sun or light shade. They need well drained soil.
